Open Networking in the Enterprise

We had time to talk to one of the sponsors of Open Networking Summit (ONS), Inocybe. One of the challenges with open source in enterprise IT is complexity. Enterprise IT wants standard repeatable and supported solutions. Conferences such as ONS generally focus on builders and service providers. There is a sprinkling of traditional enterprise vendors such as Dell and Juniper at ONS. Then there are companies such as Inocybe that focus narrowly on making open source easier to consume in networking. There’s a lot to learn from the conversation about adopting and supporting open source in enterprise IT.
