5 of virtualized Geeks Tech talk VM World Edition today is the 25th or 26th I believe so so she she believes so it's the 26. and this is day one of VM world so if you're asking hey you know what Keith is usually not this good looking you're right I'm not I'm here with my beautiful wife Melissa Townsend we're in San Francisco for day one of vmworld and I wanted to get kind of an outsider's perspective of the whole virtualization scene and uh what happens at vmworld and get kind of uh uh a normal person's view of our of our world so Melissa First Impressions what do you think about the we stopped over at Mark Moscone Center West uh to register for VM world what's your initial impressions I was very taken back um by The Experience um very surprised I just thought it would be a bunch of Geeks coming in doing their thing very professional very quick um very organized by the staff um friendly um I almost wanted to be there myself so I was really surprised at how organized organized the conference center was so I'm pretty sure VMware VMware would love to have another person registered for being world would you like interested in going with me this week to some of the sessions and classes you know what I have to say I I'm kind of um on edge about it you know the city of San Francisco has did a great job with displaying all the signs advertising the conference um you know I'm just really happy to be here to support my husband um so yeah I wouldn't mind going even though I don't know what it is I don't know but just the just seeing people respond and all the you know the hype around it make you want to be a part of that organization okay so but Melissa will actually be doing uh spousatives which is a uh uh kind of a unconference type of event which is uh arranged by Scott Lowe's wife Crystal Lowe for major Tech conferences and where uh spouses family members of uh conference attendees can do things to keep busy while the spouses or who whoever whoever they come with is attending the conference so tomorrow is a breakfast yes tomorrow morning say meet and greet um breakfast for significant other or partners and I'm looking forward to meeting the other um individuals that came along with their their spouses um getting to know some new people making some new friends just to see you know what VMware bring us okay so you know what just in case uh I don't know we're gonna post this video tonight uh Melissa is going to wear one of these cool virtualized t-shirts she's gonna wear one of the cool verse last t-shirts and um you know I'm gonna have you take a virtualized t-shirt with you and if somebody recognizes you they can uh get a free shirt you know what uh next video I think I'll open the swag
