hi it's Keith THS from the CTO advisor.com and quick coffee chat it started out as a blog post and I figured you know what I'll just make it a quick coffee chat it's not maybe blog post worthy the VMware SL soft leer partnership when I say it's not blog post-worthy I don't mean that it's not interesting news it's just not enough information to write a blog post about I think one of the things that I may tackle in the longer term is limiting risk when it
comes to deploying new technologies such as cloud computing and I think this is what the software VMware partnership has probably the most value at for most Enterprises when you think about cloud cloud is hard whether you're doing it via openstack or VMware V realiz Suite or any other project or product out there cloud in itself is not a easy undertaking so in areas of Technology risk where you can limit the risk and one of those is the physical infrastructure or deploying the cloud management platform itself
the software and um the IBM software and VMware vcloud agreement makes sense IBM takes away the headache of this repeatable engineering product that they can or solution that they can do across many customers and gives the enduser the stability of a cloud management platform that they can rely upon they can then tackle the harder business and process challenges around moving applications and processes to a cloud environment not this similar to what blue box does with their open stack solution running on Cloud soft layer itself not
