The components of hybrid cloud

hey how's it going - Steve Townsend from the c2 advisory comm with today's CTO daily dose for October 11 2017 so we talked yesterday about hybrid cloud in the difference between hyper cloud hybrid IT and now we're going to continue this conversation because we drew this picture where we have multiple clouds inside of our hybrid cloud we have Azure AWS Opus tag for on-premises cloud consumption we have end users and administrators consuming this abstracted hybrid cloud to consume or this high fat the hybrid cloud layer
to consume the clouds within so the big question what is this GUI part outside of other clouds that connect the clouds what is that connecting tissue to make it a hybrid cloud good question Blanche asked so this hybrid cloud layer is a combination of things it's not a product of service and HPE I'm going there today to hear about their cloud hybrid cloud solutions daily EMC has come out with some stuff loot annexes have products around EPS triple trying to put a tangible product around hybrid
cloud I don't know if hybrid cloud would ever be a tangible product because it's a combination of things it's the control plane it's also the network and most importantly is the data you need to have a strategy for the control plane the network the data and then adjacent to that there's governance they have to take place and that governance we can generically call it your IT Service Management and compliance etc but starting with the control plane the control plane is usually some software layer that allows
you to manage your cloud ie you can have a four cloud native applications you can choose something like kubernetes that allows you to have a multi cloud approach to deploying applications across multiple clouds you can choose a cloud aggregator like HP ease new stack concept or new tanis's prism based solution that can be a software or normally is a software layer the network piece you know what this is basic network connectivity this is expecting to huge consideration when you can consider data if you have data
result residing warm premises that needs to be accessed in the AWS cloud or the zora cloud or the inverse you need to ensure that you have the correct data network in order to do that that can be a super low latency network by placing your data access in a Colo facility we're going as far as we talked on the VMware cloud on AWS of putting your data in VMware cloud in AWS and kind of combining your hybrid IT environment into a single physical data center well
