[Music] hey how's it going to ski bouncing from the CTO advisor calm and you are watching continued coverage of tech field day 15 you know what up next I have to put this disclaimer before I talk about these guys because Jason Carell Coulier with his head and the whole team I really like them because one they know how to feed a team the Thai food I'm still you know I'm still trying to work that off the solution let's talk about the technology and the potential business
value of the technology and my impressions of the technology first off let's get off I got into a big kerfuffle one Twitter about stretched layer to scale computing is using stretch layer 2 to connect to Google cloud to replicate their data and your vm's up into Google cloud which you know what I don't have a problem with that solution what I have a problem with is running layer 2 and stretch layer 2 of production so off the top that's let's get that out that I don't
have a problem with the technology they're using to replicate into the cloud I just don't like the concept of using that in production for an extended period of time but outside of that the solution is actually pretty impressive we got a little greediest delegates as we talk through kind of wanting more and more features such as push button DRS etc but as a launch partner with Google then Google's new nested virtualization solution in their cloud platform I have to say we were pretty impressed as delegates
it's just pure technologies the ideal is that you take KVM Ronnie hc3 that scale Computing's platform for hyper converse computing you take that and you run it inside of a instance in Google compute so next it virtualization you just basically lift the shift you are in current your current environment and run it in the cloud really impressive Ravello systems has done this in the past but scale kind of makes this as push-button simple 2d R as possible so while not necessarily new the solution itself especially
