>> Welcome to VMware Explore, 2022, with a CTO Advisor Studio. Come on in and consume some content. Fun times. Mr. CTO Advisor, finally here at the conference. I cannot believe it's been five year making. How do you feel in this moment? >> So I'm super excited. There's been a ton of activity in the booth, before the booth. The doors have just opened. VMware is back, baby. It's time again. >> And it's time in this live.
And you brought the Airstream. >> We bought the Airstream. We bought the whole crew. The daughter's here, the brother's here, our website developer is here. We'll have Yadin Porter, Yadin Porter de León from tech Level Up. We'll have Stephen Foskett from Gestalt and Tech Field Day fan. The community really stepped up and they're really excited about this. Just as much as us. >> It's been so amazing being on this ride with you and on this journey, I can't believe that we are here.
The buzz is so happening, is, everything is moving smoothly. What are your predictions at the end of this show? How do you see the CTO Advisor at the end? After we interviewed everybody, we did all our party. We pack it up. What's next? >> The event people did stop by and say, "Hey wouldn't it be cool if we had the Airstream in Europe, for a VMware Barcelona". And I'm thinking, you know what? You're absolutely right. It would be cool to have the Airstream in Barcelona.
I don't know if it's going to be this Airstream, but it will. Yeah, is an idea. >> So proud of you in these moments. I just cannot tell you how proud of I am of you, how you brought the industry along, how you brought your family members and you continue to pave the way for so many people in this industry. If you had any advice to give to anyone that's trying to become an influencer or trying to become a CTO Advisor, what advice would you give them?
>> You know what? Find your voice, your opinion matters, whether you're new in your career you have 20 or 30 years experience. Whether you're in IT infrastructure, security, application development, there are people who can learn from your experience and they want to hear from you. Feel free to share that, doesn't have to be on Twitter. Doesn't have to be on LinkedIn, but put your voice out there. Put it out there. There's plenty of room for all of us. >> And the final question, and I know everybody's going to be asking this throughout the week.
What are your prediction for 2023? Is VMware going to be here or will they not? Be here. >> Yeah, I'm not used to being in the hot seat. That's a, that's a good question. VMware Explore has typically been a, VMware Explore has been a industry-wide conference. It's a lot of attention. Broadcom is narrowing the view to its top, top 500 or so customers. I think there's going to be a audience for that. It will never be like this again.
>> Okay. >> But there will be some level of engagement. We, we're just talking about that on a podcast this morning. I, my prediction is someone is going to fill the void, that VMware has for the space to have the conversation. Maybe it's the CTO Advisor. >> That would be nice. Well, you heard it.
