eight physical vines right but we are also in every major club provider we announced this week the our integration in our software within AWS and we also have it available in Azure and we're working also releasing the GCP version of that so what we do that if I'm a developer and I need to protect some data and AWS GCP or even resort GC GC becomes so what what do I have to do do I have to set up some time you might need to know about
grandfather grandfather all of that stuff like what love the developer experience so more developer perspective one of the things that we offer which is very unique is we simplify the entire stack in the process for generating or having access to whatever you decided to access mm-hmm on a centralized platform okay so one of the biggest misconception today is still and I find it in places that I go throughout the world there's the general somewhat perception of cohesive is that is a data protection product cohesively delivers
a data platform which happens to have a multi purpose approach so the point is to eliminate silos but we consolidate them and collapse about providing a platform that builds upon different capabilities are specifically designed to address a set of pain points with the data so your your I've interviewed a bunch of CTO and the data protection marketing you're the first one to really talk about a data platform versus just data protection the look is beta protection however as I'm hosting a webinar talking about backup is
dead it's this is no longer about that now this is about data mobility correct being able to move data in and out of places that it needs to be you know there's this concept that data has gravity but we're at AWS reinvent they announce nuclei capability Sage master in machine learning that data needs to be in the cloud first however that they'd also needs to be on Frank correct however that day may also needs to be in Google compute correct in Azure it also needs to
be in my data center on the other side of the world how do I do that well obviously we are bound to limits of physics right we cannot ingest as much data as we introduce right so we have a pretty unique ability we have a data fabric that could be stretched throughout the globe which basically we can exist as a virtual appliance for VMware a cloud type of model for AWS agitant which will be also the GCP and at the same time we have you know
different things that we can deploy it according to the size including at the edge even right so we covered the whole edge court into the activation itself with the same type of platform because the scale that particular weight but it's not just back up ok back up is just one piece of that right it's just one part of the story so so obviously there there's a major gap in the major pain point in terms of what businesses need today from a data protection aspect so we
addressed that by delivering newer technology that allows - that allows customers and environment suit to recover and protect and access information a much more efficient faster way as its demanded by the business that is I think a great story especially in a builders conference where it's all about building infrastructure shouldn't be something that developers think about data movement meets needs to be something that developers think about where the data is needed data sovereignty etc huh I love the story that you're bringing to cohesive so let's
flip then turn our heads back a little bit you there's Captain D's in and then there's a person that great attack TVs now that was a little confusion in the interview like who's this type of meat guy comes out is punching clouds captain of Eason we can't whenever I see you on Twitter that shows you can't get too far away from your baby you you still love visa absolutely so real more cloud of AWS this whole infrastructure that we're building that this vc8 well what does
the VM we'll call it the V and V MC on AWS does that need to be protected absolutely we are you said it before data is any oil right whichever representation of the data that's going to be it needs to be it has an incredible value imagine that we now have been adopting this this excellent platform and this these partnerships with VM on AWS but you still need to protect that data right right whether it be not only just the application themselves there's other opportunities that
exist which we're actually tackling specifically to provide a level of to fix a problem that it exists today the data center and it will exist everywhere which is having to protect the management sector what's the a much next approach the literature for data centers so it converts that protected demand respect it takes I don't know you'd ever boot up the vCenter it takes their second you did one can take 10-15 minutes to put up a V Center you face some frankly ridiculous plans can you recap
those claims are we about to do show me I've got a deep believe but let's recap you laflamme's so it's excellent because I the reason why we stopped to you first right you're the very first person I wanted to validate key have you ever seen the recovery of a data center from the management perspective I this one specifically that we has a big problem right when they can be recovered under 15 minutes from a complete failure sprats that place doesn't exist this is not a replication
capabilities as a matter of it would cover ability so I want to be here ryoga's it takes 10 or 15 minutes for me just the boot up my vCenter not not to recovery correct I'm telling you so I want to make sure you that I don't want to I can prove it yeah I don't want to toss over those this is not you're saying that from disaster to the point of recovery 15 minutes later my entire management stack is up and running I can provision start
the V motion and then restore applications in four minutes so we are going to leave it there that's that's the best look that's the hook that's it how long people want to find out about that how can they find out so we actually publish that Vemma branded paper on this what releases uh PM world and right now actually there's been a couple of articles have been published myself mm-hmm it actually show the demonstration there's a couple of things we're looking they put a clock on there
so there's not just smoke and mirrors right this is what happens into your point that you made which is excellent we are we focus on VM recovery but there's also application recovery right where the app work the fact that the application itself takes ten minutes to come up that's an application centric type of scenario that's to be addressing it is for example V Center six five the latest release that problem that existed before ten twelve minutes to come up has been fixer is not thirty seconds
so imagine if there's a dependency to bring that the environment up now it comes up you know you should cut the time between 12 minutes in 30 seconds because it's a week to be honest with you a lot of the time that it takes for us to do what the things that we do in this particular solution it's letting that service come yes now we don't have to do that the I'll provide a link towards your demo just for people to check it out or often
