HPE vs Dell Cloud Stories - Who's Winning?

>> Oh, you guys love opinions. HPE cloud story versus the Dell Technologies cloud story. We got two book in events last week, Dell's Tech Field Day extra hosted by the fine folks at Gestalt IT in HPE discover, at the beginning of the week. Two awesome times to showcase to analysts and customers the end to end story around compute in the data center to public cloud consumption. The market may not represent this. Dell EMC with VMware has a very, very compelling market leadership position, but when it comes to the ability to tell the story of the vision, how does each company differentiate themselves and present themselves as being able to move your data in compute across clouds?
Once you get past the VMware story, the VMware cloud on foundation story, I have to say, HPE has the slight edge. At least from a product portfolio perspective, HPE can tell the end to end story, could be because HPE has less products to integrate, but for whatever reason, they tell a better story. When it comes to the individual components, Dell EMC, Dell technologies may have a much more deep portfolio of products and capabilities, but they're so big that Dell tech cloud is unable to coherently tell the story of how they differentiate from HPE, NetApp, et cetera.
You still have to put too much of your own engineering efforts to get end to end solutions. I know my friends at Fashion Inc. and Dell technologies don't agree with that assessment, but it's true. Dell technologies cloud today is mainly in name only. They still have a lot of work to do when it comes to being able to tell that end to end story. You think otherwise?
