motivated me four times thing which is change yesterday at the Cincinnati V book Puma Smith got up and did a great job of talking about change and how not to fear change we're talking about digital transformation as the central theme of this month thing and I did a great career panel for the Cincinnati mug which a lot of questions kind of centered around change how do we adjust our careers how do we get the schedule or free our schedules to do the work that we need
to do how do we navigate the change that's coming and that's motivated by digital transformation when it comes to our careers a lot of great practical advice came out of that and you know what I think as part of the theme of this past election we're going to hit some you know what some part to hit areas and such as financing your growth here career growth a lot of questions around advanced degrees undergrad degree is the value of a degree especially when it comes to the
digital transformation you know what I'm passionate about this area and I think it's partially because of my career journey from 2003 to 2009 I worked towards my undergrad net for 2009 to 2012 our tours my Master's I got into a ton of student loan debt that was offset a little bit by going to an adult program a beating to use some of my lifetime experience as college credit for overall just a major investment for me how did that help me we're turning in how does that
pertain to digital transformation well in the digital transformation we need to understand the business I've talked before about when you need to do something such as a network upgrade and you need to go to management to do business case and make the argument of why the network upgrade is more important than the manufacturing for buying more forklifts a degree is a path to help you make that their differentiation between the two different projects how to make it cakes how to connect the network upgrade to the
digital transformation stop the only path you can get that dream career experience we've talked about this on the brown bag you go to be brown bag calm and google or search for my name you'll find that those conversations but i wanted to make sure we focus with the day after the election one change change is coming because you know what change always comes during english sometimes but more importantly it was a great opportunity to sit back and talk about change the type of changes that come
