so I've been a sap Sapphire for the past week I'm back at the ranch you know there was going to be some AI talked about at sap Sapphire sap Jewel the big announcement is this a big deal or kind of a me to AI opportunity for sap to be part of the AI conversation without a doubt your Erp Finance Logistics Etc data alongside of your HR data your travel and expense data your CRM all of that data will be mined by AI the question will be
who gives you the keys to that data who has the keys to that data this isn't like the old times where I had to get a SA P Hana expert to pull in all of these data sets right Advanced curies spend a ton of time engineering to get to these answers and not being agile to ask a question who is my best sales agent in this region of the company based on payate travel expenses and what what they sell like what's the cost of the thing
that they're selling this data that's spad spread across multiple systems can now be basically answered in a simple large language model cury the regular just human language if you're asking a question why can't I just do this with a AWS Bedrock or or all those Solutions sap would tell you you can however that's not where you should probably start where you should probably start is a place where the data is native and if you're using all of Sap's Solutions sap jewel is that thing create the
dashboard create the report create the abop code to have extension to create a all new application around my sap data that's the promise and then when Sap's llm can't take you far enough then you go and you pull in Partners from The Hub that's the theory in practice you know what sap is a little late to the game with a llm assistant and model you would think uh that sap the company itself self would be in front of this but sap has deep deep experience around
data processes business processes their own data and they have knowledge that these other companies just will take a really long time to get operational knowledge with sap embedding Enterprise Architects and these data transformation projects they just have access to more examples and and they're close to the business so huge opportunity for sap I don't think anyone's truly late to the AI game because we're still figuring this out and I think sap Jewel has just as much opportunity as any other large language model or cury based
solution out there
