Datacore Tech Field Day 15 Reap
Transcript
hey how's it going to skew Towson from the CTO of Weiser calm with recap of tech field day 15 up next is data core you know what data core has a really great value problem the the hook is really good the idea is that you have a sequel server application it runs slowly for whatever reasons and you want to speed it up basically they've taken their IP the data core IP data core has been around for more than 20 years and they've taken their parallel aisle
IP combine it together created a back black box solution which is basically IO filter driver that installs in Windows Server take your pick and then speaks up the i/o well not really speeds up it takes care of issues such as queuing etc to paralyze the peril paralyze the i/o going into your disk subsystem so it makes Windows Server Miele more efficient specifically to benefit sequel server it can apply and benefit or impact other solutions and I think this was probably much of the frustration of many
of the delegates at tech field day 15 is that this is basically a black box we don't know what the filter does exactly data Court believes this to be IP that is unique to their platform so they were very uncomfortable sharing the technical details so the the tech field a video could probably be honestly probably could have been whittled down to about 20 minutes it's you know what is IO filter it runs on these platforms it benefits these applications and this is how you install it
here's a quick demo of the solution so maybe 30 minutes of actual content that will stretched out to two hours so you know firstworldproblems moan complain I was in beauty San Jose and got subjected to to our presentation that should have been a half an hour but the solution itself really interesting and I encourage you to check it out check out the tech field day videos it still is a some benefit to watch the video you can do both by going to tech field a.com for
