all right welcome to the CTO advisor live from real world 2017 this is day three guys I'm tired and is near yeah the end is near so if you have enough CTO thank you don't but it's not just me and it's not my guests is it Melissa so let's go around the table digital introductions Angela my name is Angela Channing hi my Twitter handle Angelo Angelo Chani and I blog at virtue eyes comm mark bein on Twitter's is xnc stories alright so there's two parts of
being work there's two worlds with it you know are the right world there's the announcements which I've talked about yesterday and then there's the community which is what I think most of us feel that be still come to the show for the people that never painted yeah so Angeles let's start with you what what has been what has stood out for you when it comes community this week everyone yeah this week funny enough meeting a ton of new people you know you gauged with them over
twitter on social media but when you're at VMware a folks are I encourage folks don't be shy come on up talk to I've met a ton of people just walk away hey you don't tell us the native dolls that were listening to the podcast and don't do that you're gonna be here we're always out there with this don't get it let's get it yeah let's get a I can't do it alone we need to get a angrily CTO daily doubles itself yeah but it's meeting a
bunch of it's fantastic yeah it's so encouraging and I always tell people you know the sessions are great but you can watch those after the fact yeah if there's people here that you want to meet talk to that's a higher priority to me and also that the key to is when you do meet new people is to follow up throughout the year with those relationships you build them over over the course of the year help folks in their career path etc we do what you can
for them and then when vmworld the 20/80 comes around you get to meet them in person all over again yeah they'll do the same thing right so any great hallway conversations in general that you guys can take back then your actual things that have come out like you know what I'm gonna go back and we're gonna do this differently or I need to look more into some time I've heard a lot of chatter about AWS there's a lot of folks here I think haven't tried it
out for the first tried it out yet no no they're looking to try it out for the first time so that's pretty exciting different body for our happy core that curious good last year they had an enough about the show right and then everyone was virtually kind of scratching their head like this make sense like what is this now we've got more clarity and now you know being worth shouldered and then we kind of understand time to understand the value crop and for it anybody gonna
sell fun than the Beast beer lab in AWS were hope for one free one cuz let me check out the price yeah I miss live I have yep that's an hourly price yeah so up and for those that's inside because we talk to kit later on today and we'll have them on the podcast so with that Angelo you think any politically you wanna plug anything you're doing the community today tomorrow that you want to make sure you have it I just think her I always encourage
