and think about how that would work as a SAS back in makes you wonder how well the solution scales if they were to get tens or tens of thousands of customers since this is positioned at the MIT market if you're a large cobalt customer you need all of the features and robustness of combo big this that isn't the solution for you at least not for your entire landscape but if you're a mid-sized customer you're looking at solutions like Dhruva loomio etc this puts you in that
product category but those products were designed from the ground up from a architecture to be multi-tenant etc metallic wow it has all of the advantages of compost IP and caval can kind of turn the knobs and add features basically at will based on customer request there's the question on if there's enough I guess enough flexibility in the design to scale to the tens of thousands really interesting solution I'll actually be talking to the activate guys and a sponsored podcast or a sponsor CTO dose later on
today so that was another big focus and then they talked about half-inch I love the fact that CommVault is breaking the storage moves we did video on that a couple weeks ago about how convolved has broken out of being just a backup company and challenging for primary storage I think I'm more questioning why Harwich they as far as the software-defined storage plays interesting technology but they hadn't had much success in a marketplace compared to other software-defined storage solutions so the what the combo see in that
