hey how's it going it's Keith Townsend principal the CTO advisor today's AWS everyday service or product is AWS Cognito not Incognito like their browser but Cod needle this is identity management basically public for your public or internally facing applications simple use case you want to build a web page that's behind either a payroll wall or authenticated users you don't want it available to the public internet generically but you want a set of users to be able to access it you want registration someone to go to
a web page to register for their ID for ID to be created password requirements if they forget the password you want a service to be able for them to go and shoot an email and change their password or you want them to be able to log in with your their Facebook Google or Microsoft credentials how do you build that well if you're in the business of building applications you may not want to build that yourself you just want to consume authentication and authorization service that's AWS
