AWS Certificate Manager - Three use cases

hey thanks so much for joining I'm Joe Peterson I'm the vice president of cloud and security for clarify 360. and I'm here today on behalf of the CTO advisor and their AWS everyday series and of course we're talking AWS security so today's topic is AWS certificate manager AWS certificate manager or ACM makes it easy for you to centrally manage your SSL or TLS certificates from the AWS Management console AWS CLI or ACM apis you can also audit the use of each certificate by reviewing your AWS cloudtrail logs ACM is integrated with other AWS services so you can provision an SSL or TLS certificate and deploy it with elastic load balancer Amazon cloudfront distribution and Amazon API Gateway ACM also works with AWS elastic Beanstalk and AWS cloud formation for public email validated certificates to help you manage public certificates and use them within your applications in the AWS cloud so to deploy a certificate with an AWS resource you simply select the certificate you want from a drop down list in the AWS Management console alternatively you can call an AWS API or CLI to associate the certificate with your resource so what are three use cases protect and secure your website provision and manage certificates so you can securely stop traffic to your website or application protect your internal resources secure communication between connected resources on the private Network such as servers mobile and iot devices and apply and applications you can prove improve uptime you can maintain your SSL TLS certificates including certificate renewals with automated certificate management thanks for joining
